You might recognize Courtney as the talented singer/songwriter from Barrie Ontario, but her artistry takes many forms. Courtney has been quietly honing her skills in the ancient art of macramé and weaving throughout the past few years.
After many years in the music industry, late nights and loud venues, Courtney developed a yearning for an artful practice that was solitary and quiet. Her love for macramé and fibre art blossomed into an exciting new love affair and we can’t get enough!
She describes the practice as meditative and thoughtful, which is reflected in the fine detail and beauty of her creations.
Courtney’s art is celebrated for her unique ability to weave whimsy and functionality together.
